How to find the best men’s shoes
New men’s shoe designer Kondo Sports is launching an ad campaign in New York that is expected to boost sales of its new line of men’s footwear, the Bomb Shelter.
Kondo Sports, which has been selling men’s sneakers for the past decade, is launching a campaign with its New York City-based agency, Kondo, featuring a man who wears a Bomb Shelter in his photo.
Kappa, which was founded in 2007 by a Japanese designer and launched its first shoe, the Koga, in 2013, has become one of the most popular sneaker brands in the United States, but it has struggled to keep up with the demand.
It has struggled even as sales of women’s footwear have increased in recent years.
In its ad campaign, Kudos’ marketing agency, Baskin-Robbins, says the Bomb Shelters feature on the Kondo men’s line “reinforces our commitment to making the best-in-class footwear in the world.”
The ads are set to run in New England, San Francisco and Boston.
The company said the ad campaign will run across five major markets this year.
