Ardent CTO Scott Moore announces his retirement
Ardent CEO Scott Moore announced on Monday that he will be retiring from the company, ending more than 20 years of leadership in the company.
The company announced that Moore would be stepping down from the role on June 15.
“This is not the end of Ardent,” Moore said in a statement.
“It is a very bittersweet moment for me personally.
I’ve worked at Ardent for 20 years and I’ve always believed that we have a very special place in the hearts of our community.
Ardent is a company of dreams, and I believe that our vision for our future is to provide a new generation of products and services for all of you, our passionate community.”
Moore said in his announcement that Ardent will be taking a “significant step forward” in 2017 and 2018, and said that the company will be looking to hire a new CEO for 2018.
“It is very important that we continue to invest in the growth of the company and in our vision of creating the most powerful, personalized, and accessible online community experience possible,” Moore added.
“This will allow us to be a much more focused and focused company for years to come.”
The company said in January that Moore will remain a senior executive position in his role with the company until the end to 2020.
Moore also announced that he is stepping down as president of Ardents flagship brand, the Ardent brand, and will be selling the company to his family.
The Ardent logo, in blue, is seen at the top of the Ardents website, which is currently unavailable to read.
The company said Moore will continue to lead the company in the future.
“Scott has served as Ardent’s president and CEO for more than two decades, and has led the company through the challenges of an increasingly digital world, as well as the growth and innovation of new technology,” Moore’s family said in the statement.
