Events branding system and design tooling

Clay is rapidly becoming the go-to tool for growth marketing, featuring powerful integrations and a built-in AI agent.

A global cult following has emerged in GTM communities, sparking organic meetup groups and events. Clay also hosts educational webinars and support-based office hours.

I developed a brand system and toolkit for event organizers to ensure on-brand materials that reflect Clay's playful and creative ethos.

For Clay-hosted webinars, I created dynamic Figma templates allowing easy editing and exporting of digital assets. Event managers can update text in a single frame, affecting all assets regardless of size or format.

They can also add host photos and choose from various layouts. The final step uses a randomizer plugin, drawing from a library of pre-defined shapes and colors, offering over 3,600 possible designs.

I designed shapes based on existing platform icons, with a procedural "squiggliness" to match Clay's brand style.

By combining four shapes in a grid and repeating that molecular shape, endless randomized patterns are possible for Office Hours event announcements.

For externally hosted Clay events, I created an asset kit including social media announcements, email assets, digital signage, and presentation templates in all Clay brand colors.

These templates allow hosts to edit information in one place, with changes reflected globally.
